GORDITAS
  1. 2 Cups MASECA® Corn flour
  2. ½ Tsp Salt
  3. 2 Cups Water
  4. 10.50 oz. Ground pork rinds
PUPUSAS
  1. 2 Cups MASECA® Corn flour
  2. 1 Cup Mozzarella cheese (grated)
  3. 1 ½ Cup Water
  4. 10.50 oz Ground pork rinds
Gorditas Instructions
  1. Mix the MASECA® with the salt and water until you have a soft and uniform dough. Make small balls with your hand and flatten them a little. Put the pork rinds in the middle and form the gordita.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the gorditas until they are golden brown. Put them on a paper towel so that it absorbs the excess oil.
  3. To serve them, open the gorditas in the middle and accompany them with onion, cilantro, and the sauce of your preference.
Pupusas Instructions
  1. Mix the MASECA® with the grated cheese and add water until you have a soft and uniform dough. Make small balls with the dough. Put some grease on your hands, take each ball of dough and flatten them a little until it looks like a thick tortilla. Put some of the pork rinds in the middle and cover them with more dough making a ball again. Flatten the ball with your hands to form the pupusa.
  2. Cook them on a skillet on both sides for 3 minutes.
  3. To serve them, make a topping with cabbage and carrots and season them to your liking.
